Amazon Wish List Program

Amazon wish lists have been created for resettled refugee families in Michigan, Rhode Island, Georgia, Arizona, Maryland, Colorado and Texas. In Michigan alone, over 100 refugee families have received thousands of supplies needed for daily living. 

Amazon Wish Lists Help to Ship Love and Assistance to Victims of Violence

Women Physicians for Humanity takes great pride in its participation in the Amazon wish list program. In less than one year, members of this group have set up, shared, and contributed to over 11 Amazon wish list which have benefited people in need all over the United States. Amazon wish lists have been created for resettled refugee families in Michigan, Rhode Island, Georgia, Arizona, Maryland, Colorado and Texas. In Michigan alone, over 100 refugee families have received thousands of supplies needed for daily living. In addition, this program has been used by our members to help the Feed My Sheep Homeless Pediatric Clinic in Temple, Texas and to establish a Christmas gift drive for the KIDS Foster Care Clinic in Los Angeles, California.

Our network of compassionate members allows us to quickly and effectively provide supplies where they are needed using Amazon’s Wish List model.

Most recently, over 250 gifts were donated by WP4H members for an Eid toy drive benefiting refugee children in Michigan. The Amazon wish list program has also given rise to many WP4H collaborations. We have partnered with organizations such as the International Rescue Committee, Helping Hands USA, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services and the Syrian American Rescue Network. Our network of compassionate members allows us to quickly and effectively provide supplies where they are needed using Amazon’s Wish List model.
